Treasure
The other day a young man that my son-in-law coached in college committed suicide by hanging. Boy I'll tell you what, when something like this happens it will shake you down to your core. What do you say? Do? A young man just finished college, had so much life ahead of him, and it is just gone.
This is the kind of thing that really makes you reevaluate your own life, and it makes one realize what a shame it is that it takes something like this to reconsider what you truly value in life. How sad it is that we have become so complacent and appreciative of what is really important in our lives.

When I hear of arguments involving Faith and Evolution I just smile and think how nice it would be if both sides opened their minds just a bit and realized how close they really are to the Truth.

HELLo - part one
How have you all been?!
Well my search for gold has taken quite a turn lately and I just thought I would let you know how it is going thus far--seeing how this blog is supposed to be just that! So much to tell you it will have to be posted in parts with this becoming the first of an unknowable amount of posts. It seems to make great sense--to me at least-- to label this post as 'part one' since it is the first!
Well so much for the first installment, I do not wish to over indulge anyone's attention span, especially mine, but stand-by because the next installment is certain to be the next post!
